VACANCY AT PMA consulting company
We are a PMA consulting company for Oil and Gas sector are seeking for candidates to fill the vacancy in our client for the following positions:
EXPLORATION/DEVELOPMENT/RESEVOIR GEOLOGIST
Reports to: Head of Exploration
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia.
Qualifications: BSc or MSc degree in Geoscience.
Experience level: 5-10 years preferably gained with a major operating company.
Background:
Capability in several of the following areas: wellsite and oilfield operations and reporting, well log and formation analysis, interpretation and mapping of 2D and 3D seismic data, preparation of static reservoir models. The successful candidate will be familiar with computer workstation interpretation methods and will be capable of working with minimum supervision. Good communication skills will be necessary in order to work closely with PSC partners and provide effective management reporting
Duties:
1. Act as sole company geologist to provide a geoscience interpretation capability for the Jakarta office: 2. Analyse prospectivity, risk and reserve potential for existing exploration and development projects. Compile a portfolio of technical summary documents to provide a regularly updated Management brief of project status.
3. Monitor geoscience technical work undertaken by Operators on Client’s assets.
4. Monitor all drilling activity and provide daily summary reports to Management.
5. Identify and recommend any additional work to be undertaken independent of Operators. Undertake any such work as appropriate and/or recommend consultancy requirements.
6. Act as a TCM representative for Client licences. Develop working relationships with key technical staff in partner Groups.
7. Provide technical input into assessment of new venture opportunities.
8. Advise on geosciene IT requirements.
