Kerja Onshore Qatar: RasGas; 16 positions

RasGas is engaged in the business of production and sale of Liquefied Natural Gas and related hydrocarbon products. At present, the company operates a five-train onshore facility at Ras Laffan, which is about 80km north of the capital city; Doha, in the State of Qatar.

The Company, as part of its expansion programme, is currently building further production facilities both onshore and offshore and seeks highly skilled person for the following positions;


Head of Warehouse Operations

The incumbent will work independently with established procedures and
standards to lead develop, plan and control all activities at the Company’s main warehouse, including receipt, checking, efficient storage and issue material, to ensure a cost effective and timely service to internal and external user departments with safe work practices are observed. In depth knowledge and experience of warehouse data systems covering materials, equipment and spare parts transactions with internal client user departments, ensuring that all items entering and leaving stores are correctly labelled with identifying information, that accurate records are kept relating to materials movement and that adequate stock levels are maintained to meet operational needs. Candidates will be degree qualified, bachelor’s of Science degree from a recognized University or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Certified Chartered Institute of Purchase & Supply (CIPS Professional Diploma) an advantage, with a Minimum 8-10 year’s diversified in procurement and Warehouse Management, control and distribution of materials and Warehouse Management in Oil and Gas, petrochemical sector, with at least 5 years at the supervisor level, Familiar with computer and a good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project) and minimum 5 years Knowledge & Experience of System Application Program (SAP), and Knowledge of (MMW module) an advantage. Excellent written and oral Communication Skills in English, Good experience with Quality and Occupational Health and Safety Management concepts (ISO 9001 and OHSAS-18001 Series). Extensive experience in dealing with vendors, suppliers and contractors in the Oil and Gas sector. Good leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member. Good adaptability to multinational environments, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs.

Head of Materials Issue & Shutdown

The incumbent will work independently within established procedures to lead, develop, plan and control all Shutdown and Project activities at the Company main warehouse, including preservations, repair and return of materials, and supply of the complete range of chemicals, equipment and spare parts, to ensure a cost effective and timely service to internal and external user departments with safe work practices are observed. Candidates will be degree qualified, Bachelor of Science degree from a recognized University or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Certified Chartered Institute of Purchase & Supply (CIPS Professional Diploma) an advantage with a Minimum 8 - 10 year’s diversified in procurement and Warehouse Management, control and distribution of materials and Warehouse Management in Oil and Gas sector, with at least 5 years at the supervisor level. Computer literacy and a good knowledge of (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project), and minimum 5 years Knowledge of SAP, and Knowledge of (MMW module) an advantage. Candidates must be excellent in written and oral Communication Skills in English with a good experience with Quality and Occupational Health and Safety Management concepts. Head of Inventory Planning

The incumbent will Head the Materials Inventory Planning Team of a Global Energy Supplier. Supported by a team of dedicated MRP, Stock Controllers and Analyst using and developing established MRP systems to provide a value added catalogue of spare parts and consumables. Demand forecasting, detailed trend analysis and continuous customer contact will all form part of the role that requires excellent analytical skills and the capability to collate and manipulate large volumes of data. The ability to practise and promote continuous improvement in a challenging environment of expansion and ongoing operations is essential. Working with other sections to provide customer focused solutions and develop materials management excellence is key to the success of the Supply Group. Candidates will be degree qualified, ideally in a Finance or Business related field, with a minimum of 10 years experience in supply chain environment preferably, with at least 5 years experience within the Oil and Gas industry. You will be familiar with database materials management software as well as possess System Application Program (SAP) knowledge and experience, understand ERP / MRP principles and methodologies; System Application Program (SAP) is the Company business system. In addition, exposure to and experience in the application of Quality Management concepts and principles under ISO 9000 Series is a must. Demonstrable supervisory experience in supply chain management, applicable systems, stock management theory and the ability to work in a broad multi-cultural environment are essential. Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English with an excellent understanding of standard Office desktop software.

Materials Preservation and QA Analyst

The incumbent will form part of the Material Integrity Team, reporting to the Senior Materials Engineer within the Supply Group of a Global Energy Supplier. To inspect materials and equipment meet established quality specifications and standards and that the relevant accompanying documentation is provided and maintained in accordance with established Company procedures. Ensures preservation of all spare parts, materials and equipment stored in the Company warehouses strictly in accordance with manufacturer specifications and/or established Company procedures. Co-ordinates long term preservation and re-preservation of spare parts; materials & equipment. Working with other sections to provide customer focused solutions and develop materials management excellence is key to the success of the Supply Group. Candidates will be preferably Degree Qualified, in a relevant discipline, with a minimum of 10 years experience, preferably, with at least 5 years experience within the Oil and Gas Industry. You will be familiar with database materials management software as well as possess System Application Program (SAP) knowledge and experience understand ERP / MRP principles and methodologies; System Application Program (SAP) is the Company business system. In addition, exposure to and experience in the application of Quality Management concepts and principles under ISO 9000 Series is a must. Demonstrable experience in a similar role and the ability to work in a broad multi-cultural environment are essential. Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English with an excellent understanding of standard Office desktop software.

MRP Controller

The incumbent will form part of a team of MRP Controllers reporting to the Stock Analyst of a Global Energy Supplier. Reviewing consumption and replenishment of consumables and spare parts supporting ongoing Operations and shutdown work Supports and plans inventory for normal operations and planned/ unplanned shutdowns. Works closely with others in the Supply Chain to optimise procurement. Demand forecasting and detailed trend analysis form part of the role that requires excellent analytical skills and the capability to collate and manipulate large volumes of data. Senior Materials Engineer

The incumbent will form part of the Material Integrity Team within the Supply Group of a Global Energy Supplier. Supported by a team including Preservation, Quality Assurance and Material Analysts this role reports to the Head of Material Integrity. The key focal point for standardisation and optimisation of a spare parts and consumables inventory, this role also provides support in the development of specifications for materials in line with Company and International Standards as well as Operations and Procurement best practices. Working with other sections to provide customer focused solutions and develop materials management excellence is key to the success of the Supply Group. Candidates will be Degree Qualified, in an Engineering discipline, with a minimum of 10 years experience preferably, with at least 5 years experience within the Oil and Gas industry. You will be familiar with database materials management software as well as possess System Application Program (SAP) Knowledge and experience, understand ERP/ MRP principles and rnethodologies; System Application Program (SAP) is the Company business system. In addition, exposure to and experience in the application of Quality Management concepts and principles under ISO 9000 Series is a must. Demonstrable experience in a similar role supervisory experience and the ability to work in a broad multi-cultural environment are essential. Senior Buyer

The incumbent will work independently within established procedures to achieve a professional, ethical, reliable and cost effective Purchasing service, for the complete supply chain process, through all key business pocesses from tender stage to purchase order award for spcialised/ unique goods, including working knowledge and understanding of post-order services such as expediting, shipping and receipt of goods. In depth knowledge and experience to initiate and develop medium and long term Supply Programs and Work Scope for the supply of goods and assist in the management of Supply Chain Logistics to meet user department work programs for Company and related Expansion project activities. Candidates shall be degree qualified, ideally in an engineering related discipline with a minimum of 7 years experience in a procurement position, preferably including experience in a supervisory/ management role in the Oil and Gas Industry. You will be familiar with database materials management software as well as possess SAP knowledge and experience. In addition exposure to and experience in the application of Quality Management concepts and principles under ISO 9000 Series is a must. Extensive experience in dealing with vendors, suppliers, contractors and consultants, particularly, those involved in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical or Engineering sectors is essential. Candidates must also be fluent in written and spoken English with an excellent understanding of business law and contract management Must have in-depth knowledge, understanding and experience of international freight terms as per latest incoterms as well as excellent understanding of IATA, IMDG and ROAD freight terminology, including UN classifications.

Purchasing Specialist

The incumbent will work independently managing a team of three Procurement Personnel, working within established procedures to achieve a professional, ethical reliable and cost effective total Purchasing service, for the complete supply chain process, through all key business processes from market research, budget and estimating evaluations, initiation of material specifications, develop tendering work scope specifications and compensation models, technical/ commercial evaluation and process activities to purchase order award for specialised / unique goods, including working knowledge and thorough understanding of post-order services, such as, vendor claims, change orders, expediting, shipping, goods receipt and payment. In depth knowledge and experience to initiate and provide guidance to develop medium and long term Supply Programs and Work Scope for the supply of goods, assist in the management of Supply Chain Logistics to meet user department work programs for Company and related Expansion project activities. Candidates will be degree qualified, ideally in an engineering related discipline, with a minimum of 10 years experience in a procurement position, preferably, with a minimum experience of 5 years in a supervisory/ management role within the Oil and Gas Industry. You will be familiar with database material management software as well as possess System Application Program (SAP) knowledge and experience, understand ERP principles and methodologies; System Application Program (SAP) is the Company business system. In addition, exposure to and experience in the application of Quality Management concepts and principles under ISO 9000 Series is a must. Extensive experience in dealing with vendors, suppliers, contractors and consultants, particularly those involved in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical or Engineering sectors is essential. Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English with an excellent understanding of business law and contract management, proven negotiation skills and commercial expertise on a worldwide basis. Candidates must have in-depth knowledge, understanding and experience of International freight terms as per latest Incoterm as well as excellent understanding of IATA, IMDG and ROAD freight terminology and responsibilities, including UN classifications.

Contracts Engineer and Contracts Analyst

Provide professional Contracts Engineering advice and develop the necessary documentation for Contracts Engineering services to allow the effective development and implementation of contracts and thereafter provide high quality contractual advice in support of the Company’s Onshore and Offshore facilities and activities. Bachelor of Science in Engineering, quantity surveying or Professional Associate Member of an internationally recognized Institution of Cost engineers, or quantity surveying. Minimum 8 years contracts administration experience in the oil &.gas industry of which 2 years in a supervisory role with major international Contractor or Clients. Related experience shall include some exposure project management skills, financial planning and budgeting. Knowledge of and some experience in a wide range of administration & operations services incorporating international standard forms of contract. Ability to work as both a team member and also a team leader. Shall be capable of dealing with any ambiguities arising from a multicultural working environment. Ability to interpret and understand the complexities of Scopes of Work/ Services to establish the required contractual coverage in order to accurately and comprehensively manage all contractual risks borne by the Company. Must have a good understanding of Contracts Engineering processes and international terms & conditions. Excellent computer literacy with particularly high proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects and Outlook. Knowledge of International standard forms of Projects/ Construction Engineering/ Operating Company Maintenance Contracts including claims resolution and mitigation. Exposure to and experience in the application of Quality Management principles under ISO 9000 Series or British/European Standards. Good interpersonal skills and must have experience of working with and managing a multicultural, multinational workforce, preferably within the Gulf region. Must be fluent in written and spoken English. Skill in organizing resources and establishing work priorities. Able to demonstrate excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills. Excellent planning, analytical and problem solving skills.

Materials Return & Repair Coordinator

The incumbent will work independently within established procedures to preserve of Warehouse inventory materials, according to the international standards, provide total and effective control of all Company materials requiring refurbishment, preservation and shipment to third parties for repair &.return purposes and ensure all material returned to warehouse are adhered with warehouse procedure. Candidates shall be degree qualified, higher national diploma (HND) or Diploma in an Engineering from a recognised professional institution/ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering an advantage, with.a minimum 5 year’s experience in a warehousing environment within the oil and gas sector, and at least 3 years at the coordinator level. Familiar with computer and a good knowledge of (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project), with knowledge of System Application Program (SAP), and Knowledge of (MMW module) an advantage. Good experience in the application of Quality Management Concepts and principles under SO 9001 Series and Quality Assurance (QA)/ Quality Control. Candidates must be good written and oral communication in English. Good leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member. Good experience in dealing with vendors, suppliers and contractors, particularly those involved in the Oil and Gas sector, petrochemical sectors. Business Support Specialist

To coordinate development, Maintenance and monitoring of Supply Department’s Business Plan & financial budget and to provide business support and internal controls within the Supply Department. Play a major role in administering budget numbers in SAP and to interface between Finance and the various sections within the Supply Department for analysing variance and to do regular reporting. To assist in the development of medium and long term planning for Supply department to provide business driven, cost effective processes in accordance with RasGas standards. Develop analyze and report on Supply Department’s business performance. Coordinate the preparation and maintenance of the Preliminary and Final WP&B (Work Program & Budgets) for the Supply Department to ensure department’s objectives and activities are appropriately funded. Assisting in continuous improvement of department’s performance by developing and implementing systems and measures aligned with benchmarking and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to achieve pacesetter performance. Develop and maintain training plans for the department staff. B.Sc. In Business Studies or business administration or Accounting or equivalent. Significant experience of computer systems including SAP modules as well as all office packages is essential including ability to develop and implement new systems. Minimum of 5-10 years experience in Oil & Gas environment in respective areas. Excellent written and oral English skills. Senior SAP Business Analyst (MM)

To deploy SAP MM (Materials Management) Module & preferably ESM (External Services) Module in ail RasGas Co. Ltd. departments and to monitor, maintain and develop systems’ features and functionalities to meet RasGas Co. Ltd requirements. To assist and help RasGas departments in managing and accommodating externally performed Materials/Services agreements through SAP MM/ESM. To provide all RasGas departments with business and technical online support to carry daily works as far as SAP MM and ESM Module (preferably) are concerned. B.Sc. in Business Studies or business administration or equivalent with engineering background. Certification and/or sound knowledge with experience in SAP MM Module and preferably ESM module or equivalent. Minimum of 5-10 years experience in Oil & Gas environment. Good written and oral English skills. Good leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member. Good adaptability to multinational environments, with exposure to various cultures and customs. Have experience in developing and providing SAP related training. Experience with SAP standard implementation methodologies (ASAP, Solution Manager) would be preferred.

Business Optimization Specialist

Review business processes, policies, and procedures of Management Services Group (MGS) and plan, develop and implement business improvement/re-engineering initiatives which will help increase the efficiency of MGS services to it is customers (internal and external). B.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent. Minimum +15 years diversified and multi-disciplinary industry experience spanning business administration, work flow processes evaluation, continuous improvement practices, quality management, and project management. Has a high level of business process experience through previous experience. Possesses strong analytical skills in problem solving and decision making. Requires some understanding of Management Services (IT, Procurement, Materials Management and Office Services) operations. Good experience in dealing with consultants, contractors, vendors, and suppliers, particularly pertaining to financial issues in oil and gas, petrochemical or LNG plants. Strong English and communication skills. Possesses good leadership qualities and a team player. Displays good inter-personal relations.

Project Planning Specialist

Develops and monitor all aspects of the projects planning and execution activities in Management Services Group to insure projects are withing approved time frame and budget and adherence to RasGas Project Management Methodology policies and procedures. B.Sc. degree in Information Technology or relevant technical discipline. 8+ years broad based Project Management and Planning experience and technical knowledge gained while working in a multi-national and preferably multi-cultural environment associated with the oil and gas industry. Project Management Skills in industrial type work environment and preferably in oil and gas sector and Experience Good interpersonal & management skills and ability to deal with consultants, contractors, vendors and suppliers, particularly pertaining to financial issues in oil and gas, petrochemical or LNG plants. Excellent planning and analytical skills.

Technical Engineering Specialist

Assist in developing Continuous Improvement Processes related to Technical Process Enhancement. Help identify, and implement Continuous Improvement initiatives for various departments of the Management Services Group. Such initiative can either be specific to certain departments of the Management Services Team or across all departments. The focus is on improving current Technical procedures followed by the Management Services Group especially in the areas of Quality Management and Safety. B.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 10 years diversified and multi disciplinary experience spanning from projects planning, projects implementation, project management, quality management, business support management. Good experience in dealing with consultants, contractors, vendors, and suppliers, particularly pertaining to financial issues in oil and gas petrochemical or LNG plants. Strong Techno-Commercial background. Strong English and Communication Skills. Leadership qualities and a team player.

Warehouse Coordinator

The incumbent will work independently within established procedures to supervise the coordination and internal logistics to manage the delivery of materials and consumables, reviews and approve all material issue requests to all business unit plant operations and facilities upon schedule and/or request. Coordinate and manage all emergency requests are processed and delivered in a timely manner and to the correct location and to customer requirements. Supervise and coordinate all Warehouse Operations business work processes and activities of support personnel to plan and manage to receive, transport, stack, order picking, internal shipping, issue, preservation, materials shelf life and maintain/ update system records, including audit cycle process. Supervise labelling, packing and preservation of materials or products. Candidates will be degree qualified, higher national diploma (HND); or Diploma in an Engineering from a recognized professional institution/ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering an advantage with a minimum 8-10 year’s experience in a warehousing environment within the oil and gas sector and at least 3 years at the supervisor level. Familiar with Computer and a good knowledge of (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project), with knowledge and Experience of System Application Program (SAP), and Knowledge of (MMW module) an advantage.
