Developer / Engineer
Job Summary
* Provide development and integration, customization for customer projects
Duties
Primary tasks include:
* Analyze and specify client requirements
* Develop test plans and perform unit, system and factory acceptance testing
* Complete solution delivery and client acceptance
* Report to the Fastwire project manager and Technical Manager
* Provide post-sales support for customers
Technical Skills
Critical technology competencies (i.e. software/hardware, operating systems) include:
* Requires >2 years programming experience, preferably in a UNIX environment with good knowledge of UNIX (vi editor, shell scripting, awk, perl)
* Requires at least >2 years of customer facing experience in project delivery.
* Good knowledge of Telco, preferable mobile operations. (GSM, 3G)
* Has wide-ranging experience with strong knowledge of UNIX, programming and relational database systems, and software background.
* Strong communication and customer service skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills
* Systems: Solaris and Windows Server knowledge
Qualification and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent
* A minimum of >2 years work experience
* Proven ability to work independently and interact with various teams to achieve project goals
* Worked within a Service provider will be an added advantage
* Excellent project management skills and client management skills.
* Has strong telecom domain knowledge in mobile (Radio or Core or VAS).
Consulting Engineer (Telco)
Opportunities have arisen for OSS Consultants (Netcool) to join the fastest growing Telco Solutions provider in Asia. These permanent roles are based in Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta or Kuala Lumpur. * Experience with Telecommunications Management Networks (TMN), TMF eTOM and Operational Support Systems (OSS) would be a strong advantage
* InfoVista, HP OpenView or similar experience highly desirable
* Minimum 3 years Solaris, HP-UX or Linux experience to system administrator standard
* Knowledge of Perl and shell scripting
* C/C++ and/or Java desirable

* Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills
* Ability to work independently and at the same time adding value as a team member in a project-based environment

Job Summary:
* Analyze and manage technical requirements of customers including integration and technical administration issues
Duties
Primary tasks include:
* Analyze and specify client requirements
* Design software systems and database models
* Develop test plans and perform unit, system and factory acceptance testing
* Complete solution delivery and client acceptance
* Communicate with clients to ensure expectations are properly managed
* May act as Team Lead and coordinate the activities of other personnel
* Manage projects which are of high complexity and value
* Report to the Fastwire project manager and Technical Manager
* Work with sales and Pre-Sales team on new projects
* Provide post-sales support for customers
