We are an established plastic bottles manufacturer, supplying beverages,cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and other bottles to multinational companies in Indonesia. We are looking for the following postition to be placed in West Java plant :
Purchasing Engineer
Job Description :
* To lead the sourcing process, supplier selection, finalize commercial agreement with supplier and manage supplier performance under responsible area, in order to get the best value for money for the operating unit.
* To develop and continually review supplier base and improve supplier base in order to meet business requirement.
* Negotiate favorable pricing and terms for mutual advantage, document agreements and monitor performance.
* Maintain good communication with suppliers and internal customers to assure timely delivery of orders. Resolve delivery and or quality issues through problem solving and supplier performance improvements
* plan, schedule and monitor the purchase of materials to support manufacturing, tooling, engineering departments
* Verifies specifications of purchase requests
* Consults catalogs and interviews suppliers to obtain prices and specifications
* Solicits bids, analyzing quotations received, and selects or recommends purchases to purchasing manager
* Compares prices, specifications, and delivery dates and awards contract to bidders or places orders with suppliers
* Perform special projects, and additional duties and responsibilites as assigned
Qualification :
* Graduate of any Engineering course or its equivalent.
* Male or Female
* Min 2 years experience in purchasing for manufacturing factories
* Computer skill (especially MS Excel)
* Leadership/Analytical skill/Problem solving/Team work
