Credit Risk Associate

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business
Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Commerce, Law or equivalent.
Preferably has work experience (min 2 yrs) in an organization pertaining to Operations, Audit and Controls.
Hard worker, a Team Player, detail oriented and discipline
Computer Proficient (ie. Microsoft etc.)
Responsibilities:
The candidate will involve in the following processes :
- Credit Preparation and Approval
- Data Quality Control
- Credit Documentation and Collateral
- Limit Monitoring (for next day review)
- Report preparation (including regulatory)
Main responsibilities
Maintain relationship and facility data in credit systems
Process incoming credit requests and review for completeness and accuracy; convert to concise, accurately recorded credit facilitiesPrepare accurate CAs in timely manner.
Track CA progress during approval; ensure approvals are received in compliance with policy, and recorded in database accurately and in a timely manner.
Prepare accurate and timely information for portfolio reviewsTake ownership of the data in GRR.
Understand data flows for all data element categories; investigate and resolve the underlying causes of error.
Review month-end GRR reports for assigned portfolio segment(s), following GRR data quality processReceive support and credit documentation into custody, record items in documentation system
Ensure covenants, collateral, pledged notes are monitored, and required follow-up are addressed
Monitor end-of-day exposure vs. limits (where relevant), escalate detected exceptions per policy, and obtain facilities to address recurring exceptions.
Prepare monthly report to Central Bank, Finance etc.
