Reporting to Head of Human Resources, you will be pro-actively involved in developing and implementing communication strategies and programs to support the strategic priorities of the company. As a Communication Manager, you will monitor and measure the effectiveness of communication programs against established objectives, timelines and budgets and ensure such communication programs provide clarity of message and direction for our people and encourage a culture of open and honest communication across the bank. This role also expects you to put in place creative communication tools and systems to help communication programs to 'cut through'. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will support the Business Group and Division's communication teams by contributing ideas, solutions and approaches to improve communication systems and tools (including "World" and feature material for Max). This role also requires you to proactively manage key client relationships and provide communication advice for internal stakeholders within the bank, as well as to manage external relationships, as required.
Qualification
Minimum 8 -10 years of experience in internal/external communication role, either in Corporate, Government or Consultancy is a pre - requisite. Qualification in one or more of the following disciplines in Communications/Journalism/Public Relations/Marketing/Business is another mandatory requirement. Extensive experience in influencing, developing and implementing communication strategies for major change programs is an important criteria for this role. Also, you will be required to possess thorough understanding of communication strategy, initiatives and programs. A demonstrated understanding in high level communication and influencing/negotiation skills and ability to work and communicate effectively with senior leaders is necessary. As a communication manager, you will also be expected to coach executives and management staffs and also build strong relationship and network across all levels of the Organization.
